1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the CVBuilderKit: Resume Maker & ATS mobile application ("CVBuilderKit", "the App", "we", "our", or "us"). By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement ("Apple EULA").
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not download, install, or use the App.
2. License Grant
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to download, install, and use CVBuilderKit on Apple-branded products running iOS or iPadOS that you own or control, in accordance with the Apple App Store Terms of Service.
3. Ownership of Your Career Content
Your Data Remains 100% Yours: You retain complete ownership, copyright, and all intellectual property rights in and to any career information, text, summaries, work experience, education records, graphics, or photos that you input into or export from the App. CVBuilderKit claims zero rights, title, or interest in your personal career documents.
4. Permitted and Prohibited Uses
You agree to use the App solely for legitimate personal and professional career development purposes. You agree that you will not:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the App or any underlying components;
- Modify, translate, adapt, or create derivative works of the App;
- Rent, lease, lend, sell, sublicense, distribute, or make the App available over a network to multiple devices outside Apple's Family Sharing capabilities;
- Use the App in any manner that violates applicable local, state, national, or international laws or regulations.
5. Apple iCloud and Device Synchronization
Cross-device synchronization is facilitated through Apple's CloudKit private database associated with your personal Apple ID. Your use of iCloud services is governed by Apple's iCloud Terms and Conditions. We do not guarantee uninterrupted CloudKit synchronization, which may depend on your device network connectivity, available iCloud storage quota, or Apple server status.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
While CVBuilderKit is engineered to generate clean, standard-compliant vector documents, we do not guarantee employment, interview invitations, or specific parsing results with third-party applicant tracking systems (ATS), as recruitment systems and employer screening algorithms vary widely.
7. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE DEVELOPERS, CREATORS, OR CONTRIBUTORS OF CVBUILDER BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP.
8. Modifications to the App and Terms
We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue features of the App at any time without prior notice. We may update these Terms from time to time. Your continued use of the App following the posting of updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
